I in Sydney now. I have always love to travel because it always make me feel fresh and gives me the space and time to reflect and explore myself, my life. It is possible mainly because I am free up of anew things like my mobile contact, phone stops ringing, messages stop popping from what's app, Facebook and SMS.
The past few months have been crazy, I had so much to fulfill in my office for my guys, apart from my day work, it's busy building my dreams in brazil, meeting up with people and building relationships with prospectives, then the remaining time is for connecting with my family, friends and colleagues, I hardly have any time for myself. To my surprise I'm actually loving it, I'm feeling motivated and purposeful. It has been fulfilling, some ups and downs but mostly ups. :)
This blog is meant to record my journey to realize my dreams, something where I can reflect and read when the dust has settled and I have something to check back on when I have built what I set out to do. This will let me cross check on how much have changed from where I started out to be.
Thinking back, my first steps had started 8 months ago when I took up Brazilian Portuguese. I completed 9 weeks of lessons and recently I made further progress when I met up with lien in July, then I start to make concrete plans and start to bring in the team together.
Lien have been instrumental in helping me set the course straight, business notes, sample plans and extremely useful advice from his wealth of experience and his MBA from LSE.
What I have in the plan so far?
1. I have done up 2 business plan slides, one military style and another more complete and concise.
Both would give a good overview of my plan.
2. I have worked out the possible market segments and the customers but all are options now not conclusive yet.
3. I have zoomed in my hostel location to RDJ and also five areas there to study.
4. I made some connections, with lien, dzarrin, chin tah and Darius from brazil and Charles later on the 23rd sep.
5. I have worked out the possible risks and potential F-ups.
6. I drafted the outline for the business plan paper.
Next up would be to read up and understand brazil further from my reading materials and completing the business plan before I return in sep.
Time to burn oil!
